Times are changing in the life of Bakers love. I have come to the realization that when life becomes hectic, which it always does, the one thing that takes a back seat is my blog. Lately I have been suffering with a lack of time; and am attempting to determine what I need to purge from my life in order to make my days a little more sane. Between family, school, and keeping my son on an even keel, I know that something needs to disappear. Participating in Food For Thought a News Cafe, is too much fun to let go of, and I adore my blog friends at Tuesdays with Dorie , and 'The Cookie Monday' feature of my blog has been a lot of fun for myself and my friends who were the recipients of many of those delights. Sadly something needs to go, at least for awhile. The first to hit the proverbial chopping block will be my Cookie Monday feature. My goal is to now feature a 'Treat of the week' instead of committing to a weekly cookie. Lets see how that goes.
Hang in there, Andrea -- I'll look forward to your goodies whenever you get around to them. I know it will be worth the wait. All the best to you.

Andrea, you are doing more in a week than many people do in a month. Don't beat yourself up, and don't look at like you're neglecting something ... look at it as you're adapting your blog to fit your busy life. Breathe deeply. Take care of yourself. xod

Andrea, keep your head up! I'll continue to look forward to your recipes as you share them. In fact, I'm going to try my hand at one this weekend.

Treat of the week sounds good...it's to do with cooking, right?

I'm tired just reading your list!
On one of my trips upstate I'd love to meet you for coffee (but I just don't know how you'd ever have time for it!).
